Garlic Parmesan CHOPPED Pesto

Pesto is so versatile. It’s bold and garlicky. It is perfect as a dip for veggies, a delicious marinade or dressing, smeared on a sandwich, or poured over your favorite pasta (or zucchini noodles!). We used our Garlic Parmesan Chopped almonds in place of the traditional pine nuts. They add a nice richness and an extra kick of garlic, which we love.

Prep Time 5 minutes


  • 1 pkg. Garlic Parmesan CHOPPED almonds
  • 2 cups Fresh Basil
  • 3/4 cup Extra Virgin Olive Oil
  • 1/4 cup Freshly Grated Parmesan Cheese
  • 1 clove Garlic
  • Salt & Pepper to taste
  • Red Pepper Flakes optional


  1. Add all ingredients to blender or food processor. Pulse until well blended.

  2. Add more olive oil (one tablespoon at a time) until desired consistency.

  3. Like it spicy? Add some red pepper flakes to kick it up a notch.
