5 Ingredient Cinnamon Toast Almond Butter Cups
A cinnamon spin on a traditional dessert favorite. These cinnamon toast almond butter cups are sure to be a hit at any event.
- 1 cup Nut Up Almond Butter
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate (or vegan dark) chips
- 1 tsp coconut oil
- 2 tbsp maple syrup
- 20 mini cup cake liners
Pour chocolate chips & almond butter into two separate microwave safe bowls
Add tsp of coconut oil to chocolate chips and microwave for 30 seconds, stir and repeat until liquid mixture.
Add 2 tsp of maple syrup in bowl with almond butter – microwave for 30 seconds and stir until evenly combined.
Place the mini cupcake liners on a large plate. Carefully pour almond butter 1/3 way up into each liner. Top each almond butter cup with a dollop of chocolate (liners should be 2/3 full).
Place plate full of almond butter cups in the freezer overnight until set.
Store in freezer – take out 5 minutes before eating. Enjoy!
